This intimate and casual wedding of Page and Brendan was rustic in decor. Di Fiori gave us white Hydrangeas and baby’s breath center pieces bundled together in mason jars. The couple had their guest sign Jenga blocks so they could give the newly weds a little personal note. The ceremony was short and sweet, just like we like it. A grid wall of wood and glass blocks illuminated with an amber glow from candles back dropped the ceremony.
Just like the ceremony the reception was held at the historic landmark Event 1013 in downtown Plano, TX. We had speeches from the best man and maid of honor, which happens to be Page’s sister. Speeches are always our favorite part of the day. Especially when they inject a little humor as Jerry (best man) did. Brendan and Page decided to go with a Bunt cake from Nothing Bunt Cakes, instead of your traditional wedding cake. These guys were so laid back that it fit perfectly with their style. At the end of the night the guest waved ribbon wands as the couple drove off in a classic Ford Model T. A big shout out to Melanie from Melanie Weddings for making sure Brendan and Page’s wedding day went off smoothly.
